About the artists: Hey, that’s me!

I’m Crystal, pyrographer, teacher and founder of Mosstangle Arts. My art is lovingly hand crafted using pyrography, and mixed media. I started wood burning as a way to express my love for the outdoors and all things nature inspired. After gaining experience and practice, I started teaching pyrography and found my love for people meshed well with my love for art and the outdoors.  I believe adventure is a mindset and therefore can be cultivated whenever and wherever you are. I live in the pacific northwest where you’ll often find me wandering the local trails if I’m not in my studio creating. Because of this, I want encourage you to go outside, be inspired, create!
